Now through February 29, 2012Winter Wear Drive - The Montcalm County Great Start Collaborative and the Montcalm County Department of Human Services are partnering to help keep our children warm.  These organizations are accepting donations of new or gently used and cleaned winter wear; their focus is on children 0-5 years however, they will accept larger sizes if someone is wanting to donate them.  To view the brochure, please click here. 
OngoingFlat River Work Camp II Project Applications - More than 400 youth and adult volunteers from across this nation will come to Greenville on July 22nd to work on 65-70 homes at absolutely no cost to the resident.  Volunteers will spend one week in our community performing hands-on home repairs projects for elderly, low income and disabled families.  For more information and to view the Free Home Repair Application, please click here.

Every Saturday in FebruaryEightCAP's 7th Annual Walk for Warmth - Each Saturday throughout the month of February a community walk will be held in each of the service counties, Gratiot, Ionia, Isabella and Montcalm.  Raise money to help needy families and individuals stay warm this winter.  To view the brochure, please click here.

February 28, 2012Law Enforcement Millage Vote - On February 28th Montcalm County voters will be asked to approve 1 mill to fund the law enforcement function of the Montcalm County Sheriff's Department.  This millage will ensure the continuance of 24 hour law enforcement patrols throughout the county.  The millage will only be used to fund the law enforcement operations of the Sheriff's Department, including wage and benefits for law enforcement personnel, patrol cars, law enforcement equipment, supplies and training for the Sheriff's Department.  To view the informational flyer, please click here.
