**NEW!!!** 2010 databook was released February 8, 2011. Indicators on child well-being by
state and county levels. Available online at the Michigan League for Human Services website. To find it, go to
www.milhs.org then "Our Work" then "Kids Count." The Michigan League for Human Services has staff available to assist organizations and communities with data interpretation and utilization. Note there are two pages available as PDF's on their website- there is a county "background" data page and a county "trends" data page (only the "trends" page was printed in the hardcopy Kids Count data book).

Michigan Profile for Healthy Youth (MIPHY) Data (2009 and 2010 reports). Information on risk factors for youth, Available online at the Department of Education website at state, county, and school district levels. County reports are listed at the bottom of this hyperlink's website. 2010 MiPHY County Reports are now available. Note: A minimum of at least two districts and at least two building types (middle school or high school) must participate for a county/regional report to generate. Reports are representative of students that took the survey, not necessarily of all students in the county. High school and middle school county summary tables are available by topic. Each report includes a District and Building Participation Summary as well as a Student Demographics Summary. High school behavioral reports include comparison 2009 Michigan YRBS results.* Please share this info with your colleagues and networks. Michigan Youth Risk Behavior Survey (2009 and prior). YRBS is part of a nationwide surveying effort led by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to monitor students' health risks and behaviors in six categories identified as most likely to result in adverse outcomes. These categories include unintentional injury and violence, tobacco use, alcohol and other drug use, sexual behaviors that contribute to unintended pregnancy or disease, dietary behaviors, and physical inactivity. High response rates allow results of the Michigan YRBS to be generalized to all Michigan students in grades 9-12.
